Devlog 10: Polish sprint week 2 & end of project
Hello everyone today is our final day of our polish sprint, this means our project is complete, our deadline for handing in our game is tonight, and next week all that's left is to do a presentation about our game in front of a jury.
For this last week of polish this is what we added or changed about our game:
We added controller support for our game, here are the controls!
We improved the visibility of interactable objects in our level by giving them an outline.
We improved the visibility of the dirty tables by adding a "smelly" particle effect.
We also added a particle effect for when tables get cleaned.
We added simple animations to the restaurants chef.
We also added torches outside the restaurant that lit up when it gets dark outside.
Gameplay changes:
- Changed game duration from 2.5 minutes to 4 minutes.
- Added customer groups of 2 & 4.
Bugfixes:
- Lowered some texture resolutions .
- Fixed some typos.
- Fixed HUD animation.
- Fixed out of bounds issue where the player could just walk out the restaurant.
