Devlog 08: Production week 5


This week was our last week of development, so our last week to add new features to our game, The upcoming 2 weeks are polish after those 2 weeks our game needs to be done.

What we added to our game this week:

  • Created a stove, pots, pans & cutlery for our kitchen also a service bell.
  • A carpet at the entrance of our restaurant.
  • A new painting

  • A closeup of a beer mug with a full & dirty variant, cutlery & candles.

  • The customers will display a thought balloon with their preferred meal above their head. This is important feedback for the player because it can alter the mood of the customer if you give him the wrong order ( Thus less points/score ).

  • Displaying an angry customer has also been altered , it now emits a red glow with an angry face so it becomes even more clear that you did or are doing something wrong!


  • Music and sounds are now implemented in the game, cozy music is playing in the tavern and costumers received their voices!

Oh come one now don't be so lonely, we now have families implemented in the game! The customers also get happy when they receive the good food and angry when they don't receive any food... and even more angry if you give them the wrong food. Not to worry, if you give food to a family it will automatically give the food to the person that asked for it (if there is one).

Food now get's cooked and put on the counter ready to be delivered to the client.

You can take sponges out of the closet (and put them back) to clean tables so new customers can come in and sit there. The customers also leave when they get too angry, so look out for that. Oh, and they show there emotions on their face now.
