Devlog 03: Prototyping
This week we improved our prototype and our game design model on HacknPlan. We also completed the backlog and the sprints on HacknPlan.
Prototype
We finished the prototype to make it playable. The main mechanics are implemented. The player can lead the customers to their tables. The mood of the costumers will decrease when they have to wait for a long time. The costumer will then take some time to take an order. The player can pick up the dishes from the kitchen to give them to the customers. When the customer is done eating, they leave a dirty plate. Then the player can pick up the dirty plate to put them in the dishwasher. The customers will go away when you picked up their plate or when they get mad because they had to wait too long.
HacknPlan
We made a backlog to plan in our time and tasks. Every member can easily decide which tasks he/she wants to do, and you can easily see how much time you should spend per task. The sprint consists all the things we have to do the next 3 weeks. this is important to know what you have to do before the next deadline.
Upcoming plans
Finishing the backlog and completing the sprints will be our focus. Next week we can start creating the final version of our game, which means we start the real coding and blueprinting, making art assets and characters...
